The joyful menopause course

The Joyful Menopause course is an interactive six week course with discussions in every session. Participants are encouraged to set goals after each session relating to the topic discussed eg. exercise.

The course is for women only and groups are a maximum of 15 per group.

We will be working to create an environment where women can support each other during this major life phase, a similar concept to the NCT for childbirth.

The course will cover the following topics:

Symptoms of menopause

Hormonal Changes

Hormonal changes which occur throughout the peri menopause and the symptoms these changes can cause.

Exercise that can help during menopause

Exercise

Learn about the types of exercise women need and may find beneficial during this phase and later in life.

Nutrition for menopause

Food & Nutrition

Foods to help balance hormones and reduce inflammation, improving overall health. A meal plan with recipes for the week will be provided.

Sleep and the menopause

Sleep

The importance of sleep and rest for general wellbeing and balancing hormones.

Menopause and mental health

Mental Health

Mental wellbeing and looking at ways to help ourselves.

HRT and menopause

Other Therapies

Alternative therapies and HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy).

This course is for all those women left wondering ‘is this the change for me?’

Emma will gently guide you through the emotional and physical aspects of what is happening to you and what you can do to help yourself.

From diet and exercise through to acceptance and embracing what is happening to your body. An amazing, thought provoking course that you shouldn’t miss out on.
